Abstract: 

An investigation of the modern phenomena of condensed matter physics, called, MAGNETIZATION plateau and MAGNETIZATION jump, visible as anomalies in spin susceptibility at zero temperature, have been carried out theoretically in a zero-dimensional boron triangular Kagome lattice (0D-BTKL), namely quantum dots of BTKL, subjected to a staggering sublattice potential. By analyzing the Ruderman-Kittel-Kasuya-Yoshida (RKKY) interaction, the magnetic ground state of the 0D-TKL in the presence of two magnetic adatoms, in the presence of a staggered sublattice potential is evaluated. The important salient feature of the 0D-BTKLs is the emergence of the RKKY plateaus versus the Fermi energy. The spatial configurations of the magnetic impurities dramatically change the quality and quantity of the RKKY plateaus. These RKKY plateaus have not been reported before, to the best of our knowledge. Our finite-size results successfully confirm that both the width and location of the RKKY plateaus are tunable using an external potential and Fermi energy. Another remarkable observation is the nontrivial behavior, namely the MAGNETIZATION jump, which accompanies the discontinuity in the spin susceptibility curves versus the staggering potential in our calculations. We believe that our results provide significant insights towards designing further experiments to search for the realization of the MAGNETIZATION plateau phases and MAGNETIZATION jumps in spintronics and pseudospin electronics devices based on BTKLs.

Abstract: 

Superparamagnetic nanoparticles with high saturation magnetism and small average size were synthesized by the economic co-precipitation method. FeCl2.4H2O and FeCl3.6H2O were used as salt agents and NaOH as precipitant. Different reaction conditions were investigated to improve the saturation MAGNETIZATION of synthesized magnetic nanoparticles by adjusting the reactants' concentration and the reaction's temperature. The magnetic and structural properties of the synthesized nanoparticles were investigated by XRD and VSM, respectively. MAGNETIZATION curves were analyzed to calculate the size of the magnetic moment of nanoparticles and saturation MAGNETIZATION. For each sample, three mean magnetic sizes were estimated by employing the region of the curve in the small limit, high limit, and both small and high limits of applied magnetic fields. Their sizes were also estimated by using the Scherrer formula. The mean magnetic size estimated using the region of small applied fields was in agreement with that estimated by the Scherrer formula. Although both saturation MAGNETIZATION and the size of prepared nanoparticles were increased with reaction temperature, the saturation MAGNETIZATION of nanoparticles was enhanced from 56 to 85 emu/g. In contrast, their mean magnetic size changed only between 7 to 12 nm.

Abstract: 

Interoduction: We consider the 1D spin-1/2 quantum compass model. At zero temperature, the behavior of the system is in the rule of quantum fluctuations. At this temperature, the model on the critical line is considered and a transverse magnetic field is applied. Using the numerical Lanczos method the ground state of the system and MAGNETIZATION for chains up to 20 spins is calculated. We have showed the depend on the exchange couplings the MAGNETIZATION remains zero up to a critical magnetic field. At high magnetic field the MAGNETIZATION saturate.Aim: Effects of transverse magnetic field in the quantum compass model has been investigated.Material and Method: In order to study the ground state properties of the system we have used Lanczos numerical method.Results: It has been shown that implementing transverse magnetic field causes to increase MAGNETIZATION slowly till a point which MAGNETIZATION reach its saturation value.Conclusion: With increasing transverse magnetic field in the quantum compass model, MAGNETIZATION will increase gradually up to a saturation value.

Abstract: 

The high coercivity medium is necessary for magnetic information storage. The time variation of MAGNETIZATION in a varying field is studied for fabricated Fe and FeCo high coercivity samples. The rate of MAGNETIZATION reversal with different sweep-rates for magnetic field has been obtained by the hystersis loops. With the present method we can determine this quantity, just performing VSM measurements.

Abstract: 

Improving participation in voluntary activities in Iran is important because increasing productivity among young people, given the country's young population, contributes to community sustainability. Therefore, a better understanding of volunteer motivation in Iranian youth is needed. The Volunteer Functions Inventory (VFI) for assessing volunteer motivations has good psychometric properties and is adapted to several languages, but no validated Iranian translation yet exists. The purpose of this study was to investigate the psychometric CHARACTERISTICS of voluntary functions inventory in members of Iranian Red Crescent Society. Sample size was 595 members of Youth Organization of Iranian Red Crescent Society from 31 provinces and 175 cities of Iran that were selected by multi-stage cluster sampling method and responded to voluntary functions inventory. Data were collected using a demographic sample and voluntary functions inventory (VFI). Confirmatory factor analysis using principal components method was used for data analysis. The results of the present study showed that the voluntary functions inventory had validity and reliability. Also, the factor structure showed that 29 items and 6 factors well assess people's attitudes to volunteering, and the structure of this inventory was well-fitted and confirmed all goodness of fit models. The present study provides the use of the Iranian translation of the Voluntary Functions Inventory (6 scales and 29 items) to assess volunteer motivation among young Iranian volunteers.

Abstract: 

The MAGNETIZATION and the critical current density of newly discovered NdO0.82F0.18FeAs superconductor with a critical temperature, Tc, of 51.5 K has been studied as a function of applied magnetic field and temperature. It was found that this compound exhibits a standard superconductivity with diamagnetic onset close to Tc at a very low applied magnetic field. It was shown that there was a strong paramagnetic behavior at applied magnetic larger than 50 kOe. This behavior is clearly shown in MAGNETIZATION curves as a function of applied magnetic field.

Abstract: 

Background and Aim: Job enrichment is a method that has been used to increase employee satisfaction and work motivation. The Hackman and Oldham job CHARACTERISTICS model (1976) has served as the foundation for many job enrichment efforts. In particular, a considerable amount of research has been devoted to the study of the job CHARACTERISTICS-job satisfaction relations. Te purpose of this study was to statistically determine the relation between job CHARACTERISTICS and job satisfaction among employees of hospitals affiliated to Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) in 2007. Materials and Methods: This study was a cross-sectional one, including 6 TUMS-affiliated hospitals-Emam, Shariati, Baharlo, Ziaeian, Madaen and Azadi. The sample size was 400, consisting of 200 administrative employees (50%), 151 nurses (38%) and 49 physicians (12%). The random sampling and stratified proportional sampling methods were used to select the hospitals and interviewees, respectively. Two questionnaires were developed and used to identify job CHARACTERISTICS and job satisfaction: 1) job diagnostics surveys (JDS) and 2) Hertzberg's job satisfaction questionnaire. The reliability of the questionnaires was ascertained by test-retest using the Pearson correlation coefficient (r = 0.88). Linear-by-linear association and ordinal logistics regression analysis were used for analyzing the data gathered.Results:The relations between the Motivational Potential Score (MPS) and job CHARACTERISTICS (except for feedback) with job satisfaction were statistically significant (p<0.05). Task identity was the most effective determinant of job satisfaction. Conclusion: It appears that all the job CHARACTERISTICS (except feedback) are important determinants of job satisfaction of the hospital employees. Although the work environment is in need of restructuring, it is important to note, from a positive perspective, that the job CHARACTERISTICS discussed in this study are readily amenable to change job satisfaction at the organizational level.

Abstract: 

Nickel doped CoMn ferrites with high MAGNETIZATION were synthesized by double sintering solid state route with compositions of Co0.7-xNixMn0.3Fe2O4 with x = 0, 0.05, 0.1 and 0.15. Theoretical Cation distribution for cubic spinel ferrites was suggested on basis of electrical configuration expectations and cation site preferences. Cation distribution suggested was in good agreement with experimental results obtained from VSM and XRD. Values of theoretically calculated magnetic moment, coercivity and MAGNETIZATION are in good agreement with experimental data obtained from VSM. Maximum saturation MAGNETIZATION of 37.7emu/gm is obtained for sample Co0.7Mn0.3Fe2O4 at magnetic field of 5K Oe. Magnetostriction was found to increase with increasing magnetic field (from 1KOe to 5KOe.) Maximum magnetostriction of 84ppm was observed for sample Co0.7Mn0.3Fe2O4 at 5KOe. Maximum MAGNETIZATION of magnetoelectric composites with 30% Co0.7-xNixMn0.3Fe2O4 – 70% PbZr0.48Ti0.52 was found to be 7.4 emu/g for composition with x = 0.

Abstract: 

In this study, structural and magnetic properties of CoCrPt-NiAl thin film have been investigated for potential application in information storage media on hard disks. So, change of Ni percent in NiAl substrate and thickness of CoCrPt thin film on magnetic properties was evaluated. The thickness of thin film layer has identified using TEM and XRD analyses. The magnetic properties of the samples were measured with a vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). Results of magnetic analyses showed that in CoCrPt-NiAl system, NiAl compound with similar atomic percent of Ni and Al (Ni50 Al50 ) and 48 nm thickness of CoCrPt thin film alloy has maximum coercivity force that is equal 1250 Oe.
